Remaining work for this is tracked in #150

This should support multiple columns, e.g. ?_group_count=precinct&_group_count=candidate

{

    "-1": 0,
    "laugh": 0,

This would enable faceted search - moving it to the search milestone.

It would be great if this could support foreign key references and automatically resolve and hyperlink them if they are detected.

    "+1": 0,

Should this support sum/avg/etc as well?

{
    "total_count": 0,
    "+1": 0,
    "-1": 0,
    "laugh": 0,
    "hooray": 0,

I’m going to call this feature “count values”

{
    "total_count": 0,
    "+1": 0,
    "-1": 0,
    "laugh": 0,
    "hooray": 0,
    "confused": 0,
    "heart": 0,
    "rocket": 0,
    "eyes": 0
}
?_group_count=country - return counts by specific column(s) 269731374
